Principles

The Easy Flow solution is a selective detection system using microwave technology for traffic light priority and access control, for public transportation or private vehicle fleets in urban environments.

The technology is based on a 24 GHz directional microwave link, enabling long-distance communication between an onboard transmitter and a fixed receiver :

The transmitter, installed on a vehicle, sends a radio code, which is detected by the receiver mounted on the traffic signal.
Upon receiving the code, the receiver switches an output and transmits the information to the traffic light controller.

This traffic light priority system allows :

Excellent wireless communication between the on board transmitter and the receiver on the traffic light controller
Transmission from one to several command orders (e.g., right, middle, left) using different codes
Long distance detection (300m in urban areas). This is a visual transmission with and adjustable range via Cap’Mobile
